“Run Tomorrow – Living with Dementia” became one of the best 30 micro-documentaries of “Innovators around the World” Micro-Documentary Salon. “Innovators around the World” Maicro-Documantary Salon is one of the important events of the 6th Beijing International Film Festival Documentary Sector. This year, we received more than 700 micro-documentaries from 110 countries and selected best 30 micro-documentaries. These best micro-documentaries were screened in our event. Fujinomiya: Bridging Communities (DESIAP)

“Fujinomiya: Bridging Communities, Sharing Our Memories” is featured on the web site of DESIAP (Design and Social Innovation in Asia-Pacific). DESIAP is a web platform to share innovative actions and practical wisdom among Asia-Pacific Rim countries. URL: Fujinomiya: Bridging Communities, Sharing Our Memories(DESIAP) “Fujinomiya: Bridging Communities, Sharing Our Memories” In the winter of 2014, high school students from Shizuoka prefectural Fugaku-kan, set up an interactive event involving local senior citizens, using old photos from Fujinomiya. This interactive event was held in the Fujinomiya Station Shopping Street.

Words for a Journey – The Art of Being with Dementia collects practical knowledge on living with dementia. Though many hold negative impressions of the disease, there are still many who are living well with dementia. They have not given up everything in their life just because they have the disease. The book collects wisdom and stories from such people, and extracts its essence to be shared widely. More specifically, the information in the book is formatted into small pieces of hints.
